The Global Mogul® Center for Leadership and Development of Women was founded in 2010.
About The Founder.
Founder of the Create Your Own Economy™ movement, Maranatha Global™, Roar Women’s Network™-US, Roar Women’s Network™-Ghana, founder and president of Mommies Creating Economies™, and MoguLife Real Estate™, Chairidee Smith is a force, championing the cause of the Diaspora, women, economic/political/social power for these groups.
The Center’s origins are found in Maranatha Global, a non-profit organization founded in 2008 whose mission is to assist members from the Diaspora with human rights, educational, health, entrepreneurial, and literacy matters primarily via mission’s trips, business mentoring, investment, and affordable/sustainable housing.
Through these missions and strategic partnerships, hundreds of elderly, youth, and families have been assisted. Throughout the discourse of facilitating Maranatha’s missions, it became apparent to Ms. Smith that the most vulnerable populations were women and children.
In answer this dire need, Ms. Smith partnered with several members of the board from Maranatha Global, and various educational, corporate, philanthropic, and non-partisan political agents to form The Global Mogul® Center for Women’s Leadership and Development (GMCWLD), which became The Global Mogul Center For Leadership and Development®, also known as The Center® in 2022, permitting men to partner and join.
-
The organization’s revised purpose is partner globally in developing business leaders and social change agents in creating global systems for commerce and indigenous economic wealth for the empowerment of the Diaspora.
Secondly, we intentionally identify partners and avenues of capital, investors, philanthropists, etc., ultimately, assisting them with entrepreneurial and economic development benefiting the US economy and indigenous economies, education, global health, and technological advacement.
-
Mission’s trips and international conferences resume in 2022, with covid-19 protocols in practice.
In the US, the Center is a hub for members, stakeholders, investors, partnerwiships with elite executives, and thought leaders in their social, economic, and educational development. We host masterminds, strategic conversations, and consortiums discussing, planning, and implementing strategic measures for the expansion of economic, social, spiritual, and educational advancement of the Diaspora.
Further, the Center supports Judeo-Christian, faith-based initiatives promotirng the spiritual alignment and healing of the Diaspora for generational blessing and advancement.

Legacy Leadership® Institute for Young Women and Girls is a leadership and mentor-ship initiative for girls.
The Institute’s mission is to be a driving force in the academic, civic, and entrepreneurial/career development of girls in the 5th grade through college matriculation.
Our core areas of partnership and focus for these future leaders is of course leadership and character development, entrepreneurial venture, cultural diversification, and S.T.E.M. curricula (science, technology, engineering, math). STEM-Legacy’s mission is to immerse girls and young women into computer programming by getting their fingers firmly rooted on computer keyboards and planting seeds of technological creativity as viable and reachable goals for achievement.
The program also targets introducing girls to robotics in addition to computer programming. The Institute is designed to connect girls and women via generational.
Girls in grades 5-12 are connected with industry leaders, passionate professionals, and qualified college students meeting the strict criteria of the Institute. We are now working with girls in Ghana.
Once connected, the students and leaders begin a journey of discovery, interest, and partnership in business, political, educational, civic, and diplomatic leadership.
Lifelong relationships and partnerships are forged, but the program is designed to last an academic school year, providing students with the ability to enroll annually.

Girls Global Leadership Day is a day of advocacy, and celebration for girls that Legacy Leadership Institute founder, Chairidee Smith initially established to encourage girls to expand their leadership, cultural awareness, and friendships with diversity.
Today, the annual day is about highlighting, celebrating, discussing, and advancing girls lives and opportunities not only domestically but around the globe.
This day is now set aside in accordance with The United Nations’ first International Day of the Girl Child, celebrated October 11 to expand our dialogue with girls, families, community, civic, political, and education leaders about developing a new way of thinking about issues like gender stereotypes, discrimination, leadership, entrepreneurship, opportunity and self-esteem.
